VSI Midstream, established by David Stone, Nick Noppinger & Patrick Brierley, is a Houston-based midstream company focused on providing a full suite of turnkey midstream solutions to customers throughout the US. We help our clients maintain a competitive edge by building infrastructure sized to their specific needs, providing for both optimum netback value and flow assurance.

 David Stone serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer for the Company.  Mr. Stone has more than 30 years of core experience in the midstream sector managing & leading midstream portfolios and assets, including leading group responsibilities for commercial, business development, operations and major projects.

 David Stone serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer for the Company.  Mr. Stone has more than 30 years of core experience in the midstream sector managing & leading midstream portfolios and assets, including leading group responsibilities for commercial, business development, operations and major projects.

Prior to forming VSI Midstream Mr. Stone served as COO for Durango Midstream, leveraging asset positions, acquisitions and operating optimization efforts to deliver a material return benefit to equity investors. Prior to Durango Mr. Stone served as President of SEC Energy Products & Services, where he managed a successful operations turn-around improving throughput capabilities, product quality and commercial market share.  Prior to SEC, Mr. Stone served in various commercial, operations and growth project roles for DCP Midstream, last serving as Vice President for the Permian Basin.  A South Texas native, Mr. Stone earned a BBA from The University of Texas at San Antonio.

Nicholas Noppinger serves as Chief Financial Officer for the Company. Mr. Noppinger was previously the Sr VP, Corporate Development of Wolf Carbon Solutions US, where he founded the platform and launched several infrastructure projects including CCUS pipelines and e-methanol.

Nicholas Noppinger serves as Chief Financial Officer for the Company. Mr. Noppinger was previously the Sr VP, Corporate Development of Wolf Carbon Solutions US, where he founded the platform and launched several infrastructure projects including CCUS pipelines and e-methanol.

Mr. Noppinger brings a wealth of experience from the corporate and financial industry. Prior to Wolf, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Flatirons Field Services, playing a key role in the business growth strategy and leading $175 million of investments in a greenfield midstream system in the Bakken. Mr. Noppinger has also served as Director of Corporate Development and Investor Relations of American Midstream Partners, a midstream MLP. His background also includes positions as a Senior Energy Analyst at Sandell Asset Management, and an Associate at Riverstone Holdings after starting his career at Citigroup in the Global Energy Investment Banking Group.

Mr. Noppinger holds a BA in Economics from the University of Virginia and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.

Patrick Brierley serves as Chief Operating Officer for the Company. Mr. Brierley was previously the VP of Engineering for Wolf Carbon Solutions US, where he led project execution for the Mt Simon Hub CCS Project - including CO2 capture, a 280-mile 20" pipeline and Class VI sequestration. Mr. Brierley assembled and led a team of veterans

  

Patrick Brierley serves as Chief Operating Officer for the Company. Mr. Brierley was previously the VP of Engineering for Wolf Carbon Solutions US, where he led project execution for the Mt Simon Hub CCS Project - including CO2 capture, a 280-mile 20" pipeline and Class VI sequestration. Mr. Brierley assembled and led a team of veterans to execute pre-FID engineering, stakeholder relations, land acquisition, environmental and regulatory permitting.

Mr. Brierley has extensive prior experience in energy infrastructure development and execution. Prior to Wolf, he served as Chief Engineer for Harvest Midstream. Mr. Brierley had overall responsibility for engineering, 24/7 control room operations, integrity, regulatory compliance, and measurement: playing a key role in the growth of Harvest Midstream in Alaska, Louisiana, Texas and the Southern Rockies. Mr. Brierley also served as VP of Major Projects at DCP Midstream, executing a 5-year corporate capital program that exceeded $1 billion annually. While at DCP Midstream, Mr. Brierley was the executive lead for the design and construction of the first phase of the Sand Hills NGL transportation system; a $1.3 billion, 800 mile 20” y-grade pipeline from the Permian Basin to Mt Belvieu, Texas.

Mr. Brierley holds a BA in Chemical Engineering from Oklahoma State University and is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.
